Chris Denton has joined the consulting team at David Dixon Associates and has been Head of Marketing at London's Barbican Centre since 2001. Chris's marketing strategy is based upon the twin pillars of CRM and brand development, with customer retention and loyalty at its heart. This strategy has led to significant increases in ticket sales, income generation and customer loyalty whilst also dramatically reducing marketing costs.

Prior to joining the Barbican, Chris was Head of Marketing at London's South Bank Centre and led a number of key projects including the Royal Festival Hall's 50th anniversary campaigns, the development of a new website and the coordination of key initiatives to enable greater collaboration between the resident orchestras at the Centre.

Chris is frequently asked to speak at conferences and seminars and is a guest lecturer for Goldsmith's College, the University of the Arts and several US universities, and his work attracts attention from organisations around the world, including major arts venues and festivals in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
